LEGAL TERMS

By sending an email to the Firm via a link as “Email: info@ncazeau.com” included in the Website (as defined herein after) or by accessing and/or using the Website, each individual (hereinafter “the User”, or “the Users”) represents and warrants that they have taken notice of the legal terms herein, meaning the legal information, as well as the applicable provisions concerning the protection of personal data and terms of use, and that they fully and unconditionally accept these terms.

LEGAL INFORMATION

This Website, accessible from the URL address http://www.ncazeau.com (hereinafter the “Website”) is published by the legal firm Cazeau & Associés, operating in Paris as a limited liability law firm whose articles of association have been filed, and based at 27 Rue du Pont Neuf 75001 Paris France – Tel : + 33 (0 )1 40 20 91 26 (hereinafter the “Law Firm”).

The publication Director of the Website is Nathalie CAZEAU, partner.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

The email address and any other personal data voluntarily included by the User for identification purposes in the email they send to the Firm as well as the IP addresses (Internet Protocol) of their Internet connection are the only personal data that will be collected via the Website and processed by the Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”).

The email address and any other personal data included by the User in his email for identification purposes are collected via the Website by means of an “Email: info@ncazeau.com” link which enables the Website Users to send emails to the Law Firm or to its members. These data are only kept and used in order to reply to the emails the Law Firm or its members have received.

The User must use a valid email address for the Law Firm to be able to reply to the email sent. Any other personal data is optional and is provided by the User in his email on a voluntary basis. The abovementioned data are kept throughout the time period required to achieve the purposes for which they are collected and processed.

The Law Firm only keeps User IP addresses in order to investigate any Website malfunctions, to ensure the security of the Website and/or servers on which it is hosted and to make anonymized statistical calculations.

The Personal Data collected and processed by the Law Firm via the Website will not be sold or rented to any third parties, whether free of charge or against payment.
Any User, by proving its identity, may require the Law Firm:

  • to confirm that his Personal Data are or are not processed by the Law Firm or on its behalf;
  • to provide information concerning the purposes of the data processing, the categories of the Personal Data processed and the recipients of such data within the Law Firm;
  • to provide information concerning a potential transfer of his Personal Data to a non-Member State of the European Union;
  • to communicate his Personal Data, in an accessible format, as well as any available information concerning the origin thereof. A copy of his Personal Data will be provided free of charge to the User, provided that the request is not manifestly unreasonable, due particularly to its repetitive or systematic nature.

Pursuant to articles 13 et 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and article 32 of of the modified “Informatique et Libertés” Law of the 6th of January 1978, the Director of publication informs you:

1- (Who protects?): the responsible of the file is the Lawfirm CAZEAU & ASSOCIES;

2- (What is protected?): All your personal data;

3- (Why? To what purpose?): For the protection of your private life, as part of your case treatment, whether it is a legal, judicial or arbitral case;

4- (Where?): In a register, hold by the Lawfirm CAZEAU & ASSOCIES;

5- (When and how long?): Your data are treated and kept by the Lawfirm CAZEAU & ASSOCIES, from your initial contact, including for the simple quotation or when fixing an appointment;

They won’t be kept more than 4 weeks, in the case the appointment would be cancelled.

In all the other cases, they will be kept for a 5 years period from the last legal or judicial act realized by the Lawfirm CAZEAU & ASSOCIES.

6- (How?): By a protected and secured computing system.

Any User who proves his identity, may also require for any of his data being inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, outdated, or whose collection is forbidden, to be corrected, completed, updated, or delated.

The Personal Data collected by the Law Firm via the Website may be sent to the partners of the Law Firm for the sole purposes presented above. By sending an email to the Law Firm or connecting to the Website, the User gives his consent for his Personal Data to be transferred to or accessed by the partners of the Law Firm based in France.

Personal data related to the members of the Law Firm accessible from the Website cannot be collected and processed without the prior, written consent of the data subject.

More particularly, each User is forbidden to collect and use such Personnel Data, whether manually or automatedly, to send advertising messages or any other nature, which do not relate with the Law Firm activity or its members.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Website and each one of its constituent elements, and particularly the texts, articles, newsletters, press releases, presentations, brochures, illustrations, animations, etc., are the exclusive intellectual property of the Law Firm, except for any third-party trademarks which may be cited.

The Users are only entitled to display the Website on their personal computer screen and to temporarily reproduce its constituent files in the cache memory of that computer with the sole purpose of facilitating their consultation of the Website.

In particular and subject to the provisions of the previous paragraph, the Users are not authorized to reproduce, display, display, modify, translate and/or adapt, in whole or in part, for consideration or free of charge, the Website and each of its constituent elements, or to reproduce and/or display such translations, adaptations and modifications, in whole or in part, for consideration or free of charge, without the Law Firm’s prior written consent.

In this case, and unless expressly stated otherwise on each of the above-mentioned documents, the User shall only be authorized to hold a copy of these documents and to print them for their strictly private use. In particular, Users shall refrain from distributing these documents to third parties, including by email, printing and distributing them on a physical medium and by making them available on a server installed on a public or private network.

Any short citation should include the title of the document or the Website page cited, the name of its author and, where applicable, the publication date and number of the document cited.

Based in Paris, “Cazeau & Associés”/ “Cazeau & Partners” operates in the form of a law firm and has filed its articles of association to the Bar Council.

OTHER PROVISIONS

The Website is reserved for the private use of each User.

The Website and the data, information and documents it produces are only intended to provide general and non-exhaustive information about the Law Firm and the legal profession and may not, under any circumstances, be deemed to constitute legal advice, canvassing, soliciting and/or an offer of services.

The Website has been or is currently being submitted to the Paris Bar Association, France.

Each User is solely responsible for the use he makes with the information provided on the Website and the Law Firm shall not, in any event, be liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of this information by the User. The Law Firm does not warrant that the Website will be accessible without interruption.

The Users are not authorized to create a hypertext link to the Website and/or to any page of the Website and/or to any file contained therein without the Law Firm’s express, prior consent.
