Unemployment and Resignation Allowances in France, possible under certain conditions since November 1, 2019.
In the event of resignation, an employee who plans to set up or take over an enterprise may receive unemployment benefits under the following conditions, which are cumulative
– the beneficiary has a period of affiliation of at least 1 300 days worked in the 60 months preceding the end of the contract (i.e. 5 years of uninterrupted activity);
– he has implemented, prior to his resignation, professional development advice aimed at setting up a professional reconversion project.
– the real and serious nature of his project is attested by a regional interprofessional joint commission (CPIR), or, until 31 December 2019, by the Fongecif.
